Khidma ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates a digital platform that connects users to qualified Alims, Islamic scholars, and non-clinical counselors for spiritual guidance, emotional support, and general personal advice. Khidma is not a medical or psychiatric service and does not provide clinical diagnosis or treatment.

We are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use our platform.

We only store text-based chat messages for service quality, safety, dispute resolution, and user history.

  • No audio or video recordings are stored.
  • No phone calls are recorded.

Collected automatically when you use the app:

  • Device type
  • App activity logs
  • Location (approximate, not precise)
  • Cookies (if on web version)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for:

  • Connecting you with Alims or counselors
  • Improving service quality

  • Chat data: Up to 3 years, unless you request deletion earlier
  • User profile: Until you delete your account

9. No Medical or Clinical Services

Khidma provides Islamic spiritual guidance and non-clinical counseling only.

We do not:

  • Diagnose mental health conditions
  • Provide psychiatric treatment
  • Prescribe medication
  • Replace emergency services

If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please contact local emergency services immediately.

10. Your Rights (Under DPDP Act 2023)

You may request:

  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of your data
  • Withdrawal of consent
  • Porting of data (where applicable)
